plz solve the prob in the attachment and also kindly explain about the usage of "correlate"

subject- incidence (singular)
Verb-correlates (singular verb with S)

Eliminate B,C and D.

Between A and E,

A is correct because of idiom.
CORRELATE WITH

but why is 'correlate to' wrong
even i shortlisted A and E but chose E

because of idiom: correlates X with Y.

check out the idiom list in "beat the gmat resources"..
