If you went to undergrad at the same place where you are applying to b-school, does it have any impact on your odds for admission? For example, if you went to Stanford for undergrad, is it any easier to get into Stanford GSB? If you went to Dartmouth, is it any easier to get into Tuck? Etc..? Do adcoms care about that at all?
I do not think it should make any difference as long as you can prove that the school's specific offerings match your interest and needs to help you achieve your career goals. The Ad Com only care about how well you can answer the following questions;
Do you have a clear plan for future?
Are they a good fit for you?
What value you would bring to the school?
