a little confused here...

i see everyone is saying 2011 applicant....are you guys just starting your app process early

when should i start applying for what years, how long does app process take???

i graduated about 3 years ago so i have 3 years of work experience which is what i think most schools require ...

currently its 09....if i wanted to start fall 09...is it too late???

when should i start applying if i wanted to start fall 2010....etc

im very new to my b school research, ive been studying for the gmat however for the past month...my plan is to steadly study for the gmat until i receive a score im happy with...then look into what schools i can get into...is that a bad strategy?

any help or advice greatly appreciated thanks!

Might want to read a bit closer, bucko... the threads are saying "CLASS of 2011" Applicants. i.e. graduating in 2011.

700+ or bust.

Hi B-
If you are interested in applying to b-school for Fall 2010, I would strongly recommend applying in R1 (deadlines fall around early October). This still gives you plenty of time to prepare, including:

- researching (and potentially visiting) schools
- taking the GMAT
- potentially enrolling in a Stats or Calculus class (if you are concerned about your GPA or GMAT score)
- building extra curricular activities

I would strongly recommend picking up an MBA Admissions book to learn more about the process. I am a big fan of "How To Get Into A Top MBA Program" and "Your MBA Game Plan"
