Hi Aim,
While this question is NOT written in GMAT "style" it is based on the Distance Formula, which you'll use a couple of times on Test Day.
D = R(T)
S's Formula: 5000 = (25m/sec)(T)
T = 5000/25 = 200 seconds
Since A finishes 40 seconds BEFORE T, then....
A's Formula: 5000 = R(160 seconds)
R = 5000/160 = 125/4 = 31.25m/sec
Final Answer:C
