If R and S are positive integers. R is what percent of S
(1) R=3/4 S
(2) R+S=75/100
I thought the answer was A, but OA is D.
Can someone explian this ???

you may want to check this problem.
it's clearly impossible to add two positive integers and get a fraction (like 75/100), so statement (2) has clearly been transcribed incorrectly.
that's such an obvious error that i don't think we'd see it even in the worst-quality materials ... so there's definitely no way that you'd see it on an official problem!

see again in the problem
(2) it is (R/S)=75/100, you mistook (/, division) with (+) substraction
with this correction the problem is solvable one

see again in the problem
(2) it is (R/S)=75/100, you mistook (/, division) with (+) substraction
with this correction the problem is solvable one
with that new second statement, you can reduce to r/s = 3/4, which is the same as the first statement. therefore, each of the individual statements is sufficient.
