I am scheduled to take my test in the 2nd week of December. Right now I know that I am really weak in Math and strong in Verbal.

Right now I'm working through the workbook and then plan on reading the test materials. I'm going to try to complete that all this week. For the next 3 weeks, I plan on taking 3 practice tests a week.

I'm using:

Kaplan Math Workbook
Kaplan Premier
All 3 OG

Will there be enough practice tests to take and review? Where can I purchase more or find more? I am hoping to get 700+.

I think that's more than enough books. My opinion is that a prep guide plus the OG is all most people need. The OG supplements are excellent, too.

One mistake a lot of people make is to do thousands of problems without doing any sort of analysis. Spend time breaking down and analyzing every problem you do - this is where learning takes place.

If you find that you think you're "done" with the OGs, go back and do them again. You're never done :)

Thanks for the reply. I've been still reviewing more strategies. I'll be working on problems, reviewing, and then hopefully taking practice tests and reviewing those. I'm just looking into some good practice tests because I'm guessing I'll probably need 6-10 solid CATs between now and then.

Also, you're from Portland? That's awesome, man. That's my hometown.

tweaks in time

first, you've got a comfortable ammount of time - - so don't go crazy with the diagnostics. The most important thing is identifying your weak areas.

Once you do this, focus on fortifying them.

i agree with my Veritas colleague has said: Analysis is key. One great way to do each and every question (verbal more than math) is to explain, to yourself, your loved ones, or perhaps ideally, your pet, why each right answer is correct, and why each wrong answer is wrong. Be able to identify BOTH. Before long, you'll develop a sense of what the GMAT likes to test, and how they like to test it...It's all fairly predictable when you inundate yourself with their ...um...vibe.

Offical material is the best.
Online you've got 4 tests
Plus all the paper tests. Do them all.

Be sure, I repeat, to identify your weakest areas, then plan on supplementing it with targeted study materials...
