Coming back again

Hi Stacy,

I had previously asked you to assess my profile for top b-school "applicability". This time I have more information available:

1. 1st class honours BBA degree (summa cum laude)
2. 2 years experience in Ministry of Economics as leading specialist in investment appraisal
3. active participation in charities
4. actively participated in Students Union in University
5. GMAT score: Q(49) - 90%, V(38) - 85%, Total 710 (94%)

How would you rate my chances in getting into:
1. MIT Sloan School of Management
2. NYU Stern School of Management
3. Northwestern U. - Kellogg School of Management
4. U. Pennsylvania - Wharton Business School
5. Columbia Business School

From the information that you have provided you seem like a strong candidate (GMAT, GPA, activities). It's really difficult to give "chances", but I believe you could be competitive. The only thing I would question is leadership - did you demonstrate leadership in your job and activities? Your work experience seems like it could have been pretty solitary (I really do not know since I have not seen your resume - just a guess). Find ways to show your leadership skills throughout your application.
