Is |x| + |x-1| = 1?
(1) x >= 0
(2) x <= 1
A. Statement (1) ALONE is sufficient, but statement (2) alone is not sufficient.
B. Statement (2) ALONE is sufficient, but statement (1) alone is not sufficient.
C. BOTH statements TOGETHER are sufficient, but NEITHER statement ALONE is
sufficient.
D. EACH statement ALONE is sufficient.
E. Statements (1) and (2) TOGETHER are NOT sufficient..

stmt 1 gives us that x is bigger or equal to 0. plug in 0 and u'll see that the equation is actually 1, however if you plug in 3 it'll yield 5. hence, INSUFF
stmt gives us that x is less than or equal to 1, u know that 0 satisfies, so let's try -2. the eq yields 5, therefore it's also insuff.....

1+2 we know that 0=<x=<1... try 0, 1 and 1/2 and you'll see that all of them are equal to 1... thus C is the right answer....
