Data Sufficiency- How to master it?

Hello guys,

I am getting most of the data sufficiency wrong. I have the diagram as for how to move on (for instance, if 1 is sufficient then B, C, E are cancelled then moving on to 2..and so).

My mistakes are usually the minor ones, like if the answer is A, im getting D or if its E i check C.

Any help to concentrate on this more.
Any tips.

I only have two days left.
Im stoned.

i have the EXACT same problem and situation. I am two days away from my exam and I have been noticing that if I just got a few more right on data sufficiency my score would increase dramatically since my problem solving is close to perfect. Please let me know if you were able to solve your issue, I see that you posed a few months ago. =( anyone, please help !

Hi Guys,

please make use of the below free course and follow the strategies suggested

1. Spend more time in the question steam and decide what exactly the Qstem asks before looking at s1 and s2.
2. Weight both the statements s1 and s2 before starting. (that is spend few seconds to decide whether to use AD/BCE or BD/ACE flow)
3. Use backup methods such as using numbers to test for sufficiency, use numbers in algebra DS questions.
4. Give more importance to Inequalities, modulus and number properities. the ds question in the above topics can be very tricky.
5. never carry forward any information when moving from one statement to another.
6. Never assume a variable to be integer unless explicitly stated in the question.
7. Use the Bunnel's ZIP tip, Did i assume the variable to be Zero, Integer or Positive.
