.... (xy + z) = x(y + z) = (xy + xz)
=> z = xz
=> (xz - z) = 0
=> z(x - 1) = 0

The above equation has two possible set of solution for x and z,
  • 1. x = 1 and z = any number
    2. z = 0 and x = any number
Only option E matches with the first one.

The correct answer is E.
