chairs round each of his tables

Rudolph wants to place an equal number of chairs round each of his 7 tables. When he plans to place x chairs round each of his tables, he's left with only 6 chairs to place round his seventh table, but when he plans to place y chairs round each of his tables, he's left with no chairs to place round his seventh table. If y > x > 6, what is the value of y in terms of x?
A. x + 1
B. x + 2
C. x + 4
D. x + 6
E. x + 9

Made Up!
Let's call the number of chair N.
If we put x chairs round each of tables: N = 6x + 6
If we put y chairs round each of tables: N = 6y + 0
=> 6x + 6 = 6y
=> y = x + 1
=> A
