COuld someone help me with the below Data sufficiency question? Also, could you explain how to attack questions dealng with Equations of lines in general?

Circle C and line k lie in the xy-plane. If circle C is centered at the origin and has radius 1, does line k intersect circle C?

1.) The x-intercept of line k is greater then 1.

2.) The slope of line k is -1/10

let line k=> y=mx+c. Here m is slope and c is the y-intercept. x-intercept = -c/m
To find if k intersects C (a circle with center (0,0) and radius 1)
1) x-intercept>1 => -c/m >1
using only this we can't find whether it intersects or not.

2)m=-1/10
again, this is insufficient.
Both together, c>1/10 and m=-1/10 not sufficient.
