What does P equal

by Tega1984 » Tue May 31, 2011 6:42 am
I am a bit confused about something here. 1/2=P/n and we're looking for P. My approach is to cross multiply and P would equal n/2.However,the answer explanation states that P equals to 1/2n. Can anyone tell me how is it possible?

Your approach is correct, P = n/2. It might be a typo.

I'm sorry it will take a long time if I rewrite the question along with it's explanation here. I am not able to copy-paste it here unfortunately. But it really seems that they made a mistake. Thanks for the response
