Missed the one which tested "Like Vs as"..Silly mistakes!

@Fibo,

"a disorder the scientist agree" is the appositive that describes the disorder. Now try removing that phrase, still whole sentence as in C makes sense!!

I think u have misssed the term " is caused " by oversight!!

Let us try without that appositive:

The Ama HAS DECLARED THAT AUTO-IMMUNE DISEASE is caused by immune system's response to the invading pathogen that is so similar to human bodies that the response crosses over and injures human organs, resulting in chronic disabling conditions.

C makes sense to me than A/B

Second usage of "that" corresponds to the "response" !

I am typing out the CORRECT answer (Q2. option C) from quiz 5 for everyone's benefit -

The AMA has declared that auto-immune disease , a disorder that scientists agree that is caused by immune system's response to the invading pathogen that is so similar to human bodies that the response crosses over and injures human organs , resulting in chronic disabling conditions.

Generally phrases that are covered by COMMA are considered dispensable - in the sense, even if we remove the phrase INSIDE THE COMMA the meaning should not change. So far i have not come across a single sentence that violates this rule.

@forum members - do you think the question is flawed or an aberration to the accepted rule?

You do not have access to this folder since this is for our internal use.

All GMAT SC questions are posted in the folder titled "GMAT" and you do not need enrollment key for that.
