Expressionist painters like Edvard Munch and Erich Heckel are examples of the kind of revolutionary artist who attracts little commercial attention while living, often appreciates in value after death, and eventually receives deserved credit in the end.

(A)

often appreciates in value after death, and eventually receives deserved credit in the end
(B)

whose work appreciates in value after death and eventually receives the credit it deserves in the end

(C)

then appreciated in his work's value after death and eventually received the deserved credit
(D)

but whose work appreciates in value after death and eventually receives the credit it deserves

(E)

who appreciates in his work's value after death and who eventually received the deserved credit in the end

Coorect ans: D

[spoiler] I marked B...now i understand that the mistake i committed was that of redundancy: eventually and in the end mean the same. I wanted to know how importance of the word BUT in the correct answer: Although it shows contrast, is it really important for the sentence to be correct??
