princeton test

by child » Tue Feb 19, 2008 6:28 am
Hi,

After a month of prep I was practising the Princeton Review CD test.

I finished my quant section about 10 mins before. Is it easy or i was fast?

But the score was not good :(

3rd test score is 570 (q= 44, v= 24)
4th was 550.(q=37,v=27)

Could you please comment on the performance of mine with respect to Princeton test.

Regards,
SB

You may be rushing through your test. A 44 on quant is decent, but you may have been able to get closer to a 50 if you had paced yourself well and used your time well to make sure you didn't make any careless errors or double-checked your work, etc.

If you want a good measure of your actual progress, take a GMATPrep test. Good luck!

Thank u Eric....

Could u or anybody help me with proper time allocation plan for quant and verbal ...as per the Qs order i.e time for first 1-10 then for 11-30 or so on....as the CAT scoring is based on consistent accuracy and toughness of the Qs

In general, I recommend 90 seconds to 120 seconds per question, regardless of question difficulty type.
