Tropical dry forests are less likely than rain forests to contain trees that as saplings are sturdy, high in nutrients, and resistant to insects.


(A) Tropical dry forests are less likely than rain forests to contain trees that as saplings are sturdy, high in nutrients, and resistant to insects.

(B) Tropical dry forests that are more likely than rain forests to contain sapling trees that are sturdy, high in nutrients, and resistant to insects.

(C) Trees in tropical dry forests, rather than rain forests, are the less likely to be sturdy, be high in nutrients, and to be resistant to insects as saplings.

(D) Trees in forests that are tropical and dry rather than being rain forests, are less likely to be sturdy, high in nutrients, and resistant to insects when they are a sapling.


(E) Rather than rain forests, the trees contained in tropical dry forests are the less likely to have sturdiness, be high in nutrients, and be resistant to insects as a sapling.

IMO A.
B-changes meaning
C,E- wrong comparison. C-comparing trees with rain forests, E- forests with trees..
D-"rather than being rain forests" is wrong
