Even though Bla Bartks music has proved less popular than Igor Stravinskys and less influential than Arnold Schonbergs, it is no less important.

A. Stravinskys and less influential than Arnold Schonbergs, it

B. Stravinskys and less influential than Arnold Schonbergs, he

C. Stravinskys is and less influential than Arnold Schonbergs is, it

D. Stravinsky and not as influential as Arnold Schonberg, he

E. Stravinsky and not as influential as Arnold Schonberg, it

I came down to the right answer by elimination ,but all answers seem strange to me . why in all answer options music been compared with Stravinsky(s) ? is it considered correct?

I assume the original had the ' to indicate possesive, otherwise the whole doesn't make sense.

Instead of Bartks, Stravisnkys, Schonbergs, read Bartk's, Stravisnky's, Schonberg's.

Topic: Music.. let us not compare two persons X and Y or X's music with Y's music.
I have modified two possible contenders A and C.
A is best of the worse answer too. It shall be "proved less popular || showed less influence than that of Y's"
First take: 640 (50M, 27V) - RC needs 300% improvement
Second take: coming soon..

Agree with Op A, one question

Original Op A

A. Stravinskys and less influential than Arnold Schonbergs, it

Modified Op A

A. Stravinskys and NOT AS influential AS Arnold Schonbergs, it

Both the option will remain same or the original one still has the priority over the modified one???
