Dear MBA Admissions Consultants,

Could you please help me with understanding my degree?

I graduated from State Medical University with specialization in therapy.
I have diploma of higher education and have an opportunity to cure people as in hospitals as in policlinics.
In Russia we do not have bachelors and masters in medicine.
That's why I do not understand how to indicate my degree in application.

Thank you in advance.

Dear 4meonly,

I would strongly encourage you to get your transcript evaluated by a credentialing service to know what your degree is equivalent to in the US as well as a GPA. There is a fee for the service, but it will tell you what you need to know and the evaluation will be accepted by most schools. The two best services are World Evaluation Services and Global Credential Evaluators.

Good luck,
Lisa
