Hello All,
I took my GMAT last Monday scoring 440 (38Q , 13V), which is very low especially in verbal....
Actually my target score was in mid 600's so i need to improve my Quant score with at least 7 points and my verbal score with at least 20 points
So please i need your help desperately.
I think my weakest verbal area is the RC I usually got lost in the middle of the passage and lose the track in the passage, also sometime I have to read the passage again in every question wasting a lot of time and also not answering the questions correctly...
In the exam there were 4 passages (2 long and 2 short) so i totally lost focus in the last one also I
ran out of time..
I solved all OG13 RC questions with accuracy 55%
As for SC I studied MGMAT strategy guide which built the basics for me , then I solved all OG13 SC questions for 2 times ending with 70% accuracy..
for CR I think this is my strongest area, studying MGMAT strategy guide and solving all OG13 Qns with accuracy 80%
my scores on CATs were as following...
GMATprep1 Q33 V13 Total 390
800.com Q25 V22 Total 400
800.com Q30 V18 Total 400
800.com Q33 v25 Total 490
800.com Q24 v30 Total 460
800.com Q38 v30 Total 560
Gmatprep1 (2nd time) Q13 v19 Total 320 (was very tired)
Gmatprep2 (1st time) Q33 v22 Total 510
Gmatprep1 (3rd time) Q47 v27 Total 600 (reset and doing the exam again)
Gmatprep2 (2nd time) Q45 v28 Total 600 (reset and doing the exam again)
I believe there was a long sequence of wrong answers in the actual GMAT exam led to score 13 in verbal my cause I believe that my capabilities is better that the actual score...
So please need your advice and help for a strategy and materials especially in verbal to score between 30 -35
I still have 8 weeks so I think I can achieve the desired score....
Thanks a lot...
