Most efficient time use this weekend?

by fltingley » Fri May 01, 2009 12:54 pm
I take my GMAT Tuesday, so Monday will be an off/chill day. That means this weekend is a full-blown study weekend.

I am planning on taking a full length CAT Saturday morning and spending most of that day reviewing incorrect problems and drilling my weaker concepts.

My question: should I take another full length CAT on Sunday or should I spend that day hammering down my strengths/ weaknesses?

Thanks!

No, I don't think there would be a whole lot of value in taking another practice exam on Sunday, other than possibly stressing you out in case you get a score lower than you'd like.

I'd recommend doing a final review of your notes to refresh your memory one last time, but don't try to learn anything new. Also, another idea is to write out your exam strategy (for example, "I will not spend over three minutes on one question").

Good luck!

Perhaps I'm too late, but I actually would recommend taking the other GMAT Prep CAT today. It will make you familiar with the format and 'feel' of the actual GMAT, and give you the most realistic environment for you to assess the difficulty of the questions, and gives you a basis to plan your timing.
