GMAT computer crashed

by 800_gmat » Thu Oct 23, 2008 7:13 am
Hi all
I took the GMAT the other day and my computer froze. While I was credited with the time I lost I believe it adversely affected my results. Has this every happened to anyone before and what can I do about it? I'd like to get a refund so that I can resit my test in proper conditions.
Thanks

I am really sorry to hear that. Also, I think you totally deserve a free retake.

man! sorry to hear this :(

Did u take this up with the authorities at the test centre? What was their take on it?

Just curious to know (in case you are fine with disclosing), where was this?

This was in Asia.

I've tried emailing them twice but have received no reply. Also have called twice but I keep getting put through to the call centre in India and they aren't very helpful.

Does anyone have any other suggestions...? I will be definitely retaking the exam.
