would go for E,

based on a sample of 2500 people who survived the 1st heart attack, the passage comes to a generalized conclusion that people who do not smoke have thier 1st attack 11 yrs later than smokers. may be the statistics is different for the people who did not survive the 1st attack

Clearly no option seems very strong but as the conclusion is related to the age difference of 11 years, D seems best to me.
OA plz.

IMO: E

Conclusion:
"On the basis of this information, it can be concluded that nonsmokers tend to have a first heart attack eleven years later than do people who smoke two packs of cigarettes a day. "

Non smokers can fall into 2 categories:

1. Non smokers+first heart attack+survived
2. Non smokers+first heart attack+did not survive

We have information on only he first category. Without information on the second category, we cannot comment on when non smokers had their first heart attack

Tip: Pay attention to the fact that the conclusion is talking about non smokers + first heart attack. It does not talk only about category 1. D is definitely a very close answer choice if we do not pay attention to this fact!!

Cheers

IMO E.

If we don't know the survivors from the first heart attack, the data is incorrect.
