Stacy,
I am applying at Washington University (Olin) in St. Louis, but I am curious if I am competitive. Here are my statistics:
33 Years old at time of admission
BS Acc degree - 3.88 GPA from local small name school (Colorado Technical University)
690 GMAT (44q/41v, 6.0/6.0 essay)
10 years active duty military experience (no finance experience outside of VITA and some volunteer treasurer stuff)
How do I compensate for the small school and lack of industry experience? Will my quant score hurt me or is the focus more on the overall score? How can I leverage my military experience to make up for my lack of time in the field?
Any advice is greatly appreciated.
