Is |a| = b - c ?

(1) a + c does not equal b
(2) a < 0

A) if a>0, a+c = b??
and if a<0, c-a=b?? Insufficient
No info is given.

b) a<0. insufficient

A&B) c-a=b?? we know b!=a+c.. but we can't say b=c-a. IMO E
