Current Age - 29
Age when I apply in September - around 29 years 10 months
Age when I start classes next Fall -around 30 years 10 months

Is my age of 29+ during the time of application used to evaluate my application. Or will my age when classes start (30+) be used to evaluate my application. Is my age an issue at schools like Emory & Kelley?

Hello,

It's not that rigid - or, I should say, they'll understand both. I believe that for Kelley and Emory, your age is on the older side of the regular range, but not in the "older applicant" category. Still, you might be interested in our article about older applicants.
