Hello all, I started prepping for the GMAT that I will be taking in the summer and I just have a question for he people who have been down this road and used the MGMAT guides in conjunction with the 3 OG's. When reading the MGMAT guides, what were you guys' strategy? Did you read one book at a time or did you alternate? Pretty basic question but I just wanted to know so I can adjust my study plan to the way that may work the best for me. Please and Thank you.

You might find it beneficial to go back-and-forth between Quant and Verbal (as opposed to trying to do all the Quant first, then all the Verbal) - in this way, you'll develop skills concurrently on both sections of the Test and you'll be less likely to 'lose' skills that you develop early on. To that same end, you should plan on taking FULL-length practice CATs at regular intervals (1 every 1-2 weeks), even though you'll be seeing some material that you haven't technically trained for. The early exposure to the material will help you to more easily incorporate the lessons and tactics later on. As you progress, there will be subjects that you'll need to spend extra time on, and you'll adjust your schedule accordingly.
