Dear MBA_2009:

I think you will be a competitive applicant at all of these programs based on the profile you posted. As I stated in some earlier posts today, the critical component to your application is distinguishing yourself in the eyes of the admissions committees. The applicant pools for top MBA programs are extremely large and some profiles are more common than others. Figure out what makes you unique, what value you will add to the program, communicate those things effectively, and apply early!

Good luck!
Lisa

Thanks Lisa.

Though I have a general idea on what school I want to got to, I need some help in finalizing schools. What are some resources available that can help me in that aspect? (other than school websites)

I see that your consulting group is based of LA. I live in LA too. How can your consulting group help me in selecting the schools.

Dear MBA_2009:

There are many websites out there. We have a great sticky on how to evaluate schools on this website. Other than school websites, you can check mba.com, princetonreview.com, and any rankings publications for more detail on programs.

If you would like help with school selection and/or your applications, there are many consultants that can assist you. For detail on my firm, please visit www.stacyblackman.com. Thanks for asking!

Regards,
Lisa
