HOW TO BUILD UP STRONG VOCABULARY?

Hi All,

I have always faced trouble in building up a strong vocab backup.
I usualy gets bore of craming these magical words. Please suggest me some way to develop interest and which material i should follow. I have plans to take GMAT after 1 year.

Read. That is the BEST strategy for improving V overall, and will also improve your vocabulary. Subscribe to the Economist, the WSJ, McKinsey Quarterly, NYT, and other publications. Read at least 3 articles a day and each day, summarize them - main point, supporting details, etc.

Also, freerice.com is a fun way to improve your vocab while giving to a good cause.

I never said it was easy. I personally think it's probably more *fun* to read about current events than to do practice problems. But that's just me.

Its not SO bad...when ever you have free time while browsing the internet, you could crack open the NYT website and catch up on something new going on in this world. You don't have to read all the articles at once in one day...
You got a dream... You gotta protect it. People can't do somethin' themselves, they wanna tell you you can't do it. If you want somethin', go get it. Period.
