Reading Strategy on Verbal

by dfabunan » Tue Jul 31, 2012 7:17 pm
Hey All,

I'm turning to the forums for help on this one. I am taking the MGMAT course to prep for the exam, and while the strategies they use are amazing, I am getting stuck whenever I hit problems that have more than 2 or 2.5 lines of text (this goes for SC, CR, and RC but is most pertinent on SC). I tried using the splits method, but I still get really freaked out, start thinking about how I only have 90 seconds to answer the problem, and then end up guessing. While I am thankful I have guessed right for the most part, I would really like to nail down a concrete strategy on how to address. Any and all tips would be very much appreciated!

Try to focus on accuracy and not timing for the time being.
Once you have gone through the planned material, start doing simulation tests and think about your timing.
