Dear jsabsa06,
The TOEFL could be a big issue and might result in a rejection of your application IF the program takes a hard line on its minimum score. I encourage you to contact the admissions folks for the MSA program at SJSU to determine if the 106 is an absolute minimum or if they do conditional admits to allow you time to retake the TOEFL and bring the score up. The MSA program is your best source for information on the admissions process and how your profile will measure up.
Good luck,
Lisa
