Most people buy these books:

GMAT Original Guide (OG) 11th ed.
GMAT OG 11th Math Supplement
GMAT OG 11th Verbal Supplement

Now judging by your weakness(es) you'll want to pick up books to tailor to those. Read this guy's blog to get an idea of what type of studying helped him.

I would block off about 2-3 hours per day, and 3-4 hours on the weekend days to devote to studying this material, and taking practice timed GMAT CATs, which are simulated tests. The GMAT Prep and MGMAT CAT tests seem to be the best available at the moment.

Most importantly, don't give up. Take a break when you need to. Beating the GMAT is more determination and diligence than being really smart.

I started with refreshing the basics in maths from kaplan and manhattan, then went through the exercises in there. The topics which were new to me(CR, SC) I refered to Manhattan , went through it thoroughly, after I was done with all the topics roughly, I went through all the problems in OG11. I have been noting my weaknesses all along, and in the next round I will try to focus on my weaknesses more than what I know.

I have been refering to the following resources
manhattan and Kaplan (SC and CR)
Powerscore(SC)
OG 11 for all problems.
Manhattan(maths)

I try to give 2 hrs per day on week days and aroun d 3-4 hrs on weekends. I'm planning to give my test in march

thanks,
Andy
