by abhishingwekar » Wed Apr 01, 2009 6:19 am
Hi,

I got an admit in Thunderbird as well as Syracuse University.

Can you please guide me as to, which is a better university for MBA ?

My main concern is placement and package, in that order.

My career intrest is working in good consulting companies.

Please do advice.

Regards,
Abhishek

Thanks for the interesting question.

My strong take is that you are better off going to Syracuse. Thunderbird, despite its strong international reputation, has really fallen in quality in recent years. For a consulting gig after getting your MBA, I think you will be better off being at an East Coast school like Syracuse.

Good luck and let me know what you decide--
