Hi,

After preparing for 1 Month i have taken the Princeton Review Online Test and scored 550.. :( Verba -23 / Math-42). I have my GMAT after 30 Days. Plz. suggest how to go about from here as i am really shocked to get a score of 550. How is the Princeton Review Online Test ranked as compared to the actual GMAT.

I am looking at a target score of 680 to 700. Is this achievable? Plz. assist

The books i referred -- Kaplan / Kaplan 800 / OG11

Rgds,
Gaurav

I'm sorry to hear about the disappointing first score, but don't let that get you down. Take a look at my scores in my signature to see how I went from a low of 540 to a high of 720. It can certainly be done.

You may want to look at this page to find some new resources:

There are a lot of links there and what is important to you really depends on where you are at in your studies. I strongly suggest taking a GMATPrep CAT to get a good idea of where you're at on official problems. The PR CAT is fairly well regarded on this forum as a decent indicator of what you could score, but the GMATPrep is the best indicator.

You should also consider the MGMAT materials; in particular, the SC book is highly regarded and you can get 10% off through our discount:

Buying a MGMAT book also gives you access to their CATs, which I personally consider the second best CAT out there.

Also, if you want inspiration you can read my blog (found in my signature) and Eric's blog found here:

Good luck!
