Hi and thanks for your note. And, of course, congratulations on your GMAT score. I'm not sure what to make of your bachelor's degree GPA but I am going to assume that it is good to very good.

At first glance, I would say that you have lots of good options. You are legitimate applicant to even top programs (though you will be competing with many many people with credentials similar to your own) and a competitive applicant to any but the top three or four.

My suggestions at this point are to:

- Review my criteria for choosing a business school on at the top of the Kaplan forum

- Do some research and thinking about which programs appeal to you

- Get yourself a good consultant (especially if you are applying to top programs) and shoot for the first or second round.

Now, a few notes:

Given that you are just starting your school selection process if you feel rushed or uncertain if may make sense to wait another year at which time you will be even more competitive. Of course, that mean putting off starting business school for another two years and that may not be appealing.

Your extra-curriculars are good...but not great. I don't mean to diminish them I just want to make sure that you understand that you are not a superstar in this area.

You are a good candidate for "strategic applications", that is, applying to schools that are good but not as good as you could get into in the hope of getting some scholarship money.
Keep me in the loop about your thinking and let me know if you have any more questions.
