Hello all,
Just wanted to thank everyone for the contributions to this site. They have made a big difference in my prep.
I took the test this morning and got a 690. I got a meager 70th percentile in quant, so I will certainly be retaking.
I know everyone says 690 is good enough for a upper tier school, but my GPA in undergrad was a little low (only 3.3) so I feel the need to get over 700. Plus, 700 was the goal, and I can't settle for not reaching my goal.
Felt bad during the quant section, and knew I totally bombed it.
Felt OK during the verbal, but interestingly enough, didn't get a single Bold Face! My prep for verbal included the scoretop VIP membership, and to be honest, this made a big difference! Their sentence correction examples are spot on and really made the difference in this section!
My plan will be to probably invest in some Manhattan Math Guides, study hard, and retake in 5 weeks. Have to get that 700+!
Good luck to everyone! Remember, if you don't reach your goal, don't settle! It's only $250 bucks to retake, and that isn't a lot if it makes the difference!
