Analyzing indirect object in prepositional phrase

Hi,

I came across a sentence from a text and had trouble analyzing it. The source provides the sentence: "United States policy deprived Native Americans of their ancestral lands."

The source states that "their ancestral lands" is an indirect object, but I cannot see how that is the case. Can someone explain?

The verb deprive here takes two objects direct one is Native Americans indirect one is the accusative noun phrase their ancestral lands.
