Copier A can print

by sanju09 » Thu Feb 09, 2012 4:33 am
Copier A can print 1000 impressions in an hour. How many hours will it take copier B to print 1800 similar impressions?
I. Copier B is 120 percent as efficient as copier A.
II. What copier B can print in 25 minutes, copier A takes 30 minutes to print the same number of impressions.

Stmt1.
Copier B is 120% more efficient than copier A. If A can print 1000 in an hour, B will print 1200 an hour. So to print 1800 it would take 1.5 hours for B. Sufficient.
Stmt2.
A can print 500 print in 30 mins.
Since,30 minutes for A= 25 minutes of B
So B would take 25 mins to print 500 print.
Hence B would take (1800*25/500) min to print 1800 impressions, ie, 90 mins.Sufficient.
