The question asks which angle will be the largest. So, here we can use the fact that the longest side is always opposite to the largest interior angle.

Since from statement 1, we know that PR is the longest side (as from statement 1, PR = a + 3), so the angle opposite to PR will be the largest; SUFFICIENT.

Statement 2 says a = 2, but that does not give any information about the largest side, so it is NOT sufficient.

So, the correct answer is A.
