IMO A:

A: wv = v^2 => v(w-v) = 0.
Either v = 0 or w = v. It is given that w and v are different. Hence v = 0. Sufficient

B: w = 2. Doesn't give any info about v. Hence insufficient.

Agree with A

Tip: whenever you see "X and Y are different integers " in the stem

you would have one of the solutions to the eqtn as "X=Y"

hence look out which parts of the equation can be taken common

First the integers are different

W is not equal to V

from II we can find V , V is not given

Take I

W*V = V^2

V(V-W) = 0 since W is not equal to V , V-W can not be equal to 0

Hence V = 0
