inequalities

(1) x2<1
(2) |x| < 1/x


folks ....plz explain the procedure how to do inequalities.

The second inequality is incomplete. However, here is what I get from the first:
If x^2 < 1, then this means that x is between -1 and 1, which in turn leads us to believe that |x| < 1.
So 1 would be sufficient. Correct 2 and then we can figure out the answer.
