If b = 1, then a - b = 0 and in that case (a - b)/c = 0, which is a contradiction.

The correct answer is D.

(a - b)/c = 1

a - b = c

1 - b = c


Now c can be either 1 or 0


If C = 1




1 - b = 1

b = 0



If C = 0

(a - b)/c = 1

or , ( a - b ) / 0 = 1


anything divided by 0 can never be 1 .....


So B can never be 1 ( coz we are asked to find out the one which is not possible).....
