(1/5)^m * (1/4)^18 = (1/2(10)^35)
5^(-1m) * 2^(-1*2*18) = 1/2(10^35)
5^(-1m) * 2^-36 = 1/2(10^35)
(2^-1)[5^(-1m) * 2^-35] = 1/2(10^35)
or
1/2(10^35)

I dont understand how you got down to the last two lilnes, everything else i completed understand

I think you are stuck at this point: (2^-1)[5^(-1m) * 2^-35] = 1/2(10^35)

Factor out a (2^-1) from 2^(-36) means you subtract 1 from 36 thus 2^(-35)

OR

10^35 = (2*5)^35 = (2^35)*(5^35), hence why we factored above
