Hi guys,

I discovered a cool little application called PocketExam, it's for Windows Mobile Smartphones / PDAs. The program lets you write your own flashcards/quizes and practice them.

The quiz builder is free and the software itself is available free as a demo version or for $9 if you buy it.

How can we use it for GMAT prep? I put already over 160 idioms as flashcards in the program's file format (attached below), and I'm planning to add more during this weekend. My idioms list comes from a previous post in BTG. I'm using this to review idioms during my transportation time to and back from work.

You can check it out for yourself if you have a Windows Mobile based smartphone / PDA.

Cheers

that sounds like a cool idea.

do you have the ability to sort the flashcards into two 'piles', one for cards whose content you've mastered (and therefore don't have to look at anymore) and one for cards whose content is still causing you trouble? after all, that sorting ability is still the only really good reason why flashcards are better than anything else.

you need to change the extension of the file from .txt to .pex and then open it with the program (PocketExam)
