This is from GMATPrep. pls,help

The investigation of many psychologist and anthropologist support the generalization //of there being little that is a significant difference// in the underlying mental processes manifiested by people from different culture

a,

b,of there being little that is significantly different

c,of little that is significantly different

d,that there is little that is significantly different

e,that there is little of significant difference

I am confused between d and e. pls, help

I would go for D. In E, i feel that little is place in a wrong position. "that there is of little significant difference.." sounds much better than E.

Idiom on check is different from vs difference in, different in as used in D is wrong or not idiomatic, while "difference in" in e( please check the non underline part) correct. So E should be correct.

d,that there is little that is significantly different

e,that there is little of significant difference <- Changes meaning..little of significant difference
means a small part of significant difference.. where as the meaning states that very small part of
something is significantly different...

IMO D
