I have 8 very new GMAT books - all latest editions. All bought less than 1 month ago from Barnes and Nobles - some completely new, others very lightly used. I found this combination of books best for someone with medium verbal and strong math. The books are ideal for detailed review in all verbal section, brief overview of math with detailed review of tricky math problems (700+). It's also a good balance of material vs. speed for people with limited time to study. I used the books for 4 weeks, and increased my score from mid 600 to 750+ on my official GMAT. No code left for any of the books below though.
1. Cracking the GMAT with DVD 2011 Edition, Princeton Review (unopened DVD, but used code in book for online access). Online practice test a bit too easy though for those shooting for 700+. However, great as the first book for general overview.
2. Official Guide for GMAT Review, 12th edition
3. Official Guide for GMAT Verbal Review, 2nd edition
4. Manhattan GMAT 4- Word Translations
5. Manhattan GMAT 5- Geometry
6. Manhattan GMAT 6- Critical Reasoning
7. Manhattan GMAT 7- Reading Comprehension
8. Manhattan GMAT 8- Sentence Correction
