like is used to compare nouns
as is used to compare actions

I could also find one more explanation..do not have examples though!

"use 'as' since this is a true comparison of two things that are the same. You only want to use 'like' when it is a comparison of two things that are not exactly the same, but alike in some quality."

wrt to this question

We are comapring 2 nouns , so Like needs to be used

A) correct
B) modifier should be immediately followed by the noun, Joseph bryant. Also the tense of the sentence is past from the non underlined section. so wrong
C)many another usage wrong
D) as is not correct.
E) as is not correct. many another usage is wrong

So A?

whts OA?
