The way I read the question was ...

rose .... more .. landmark ... than ...

So, rose is being compared and the answer choice must be parallel. How is E parallel or I read it incorrectly?

IMO E

(A) her being a woman
wordy
(B) being a woman is
awkward
(C) her womanhood
awkward

means she is not longer woman
(E) that she is a woman
