Can someone help me how to struture this question? A contractor combined X tons of a gravel mixture that contained 10% gravel G, by weight, with Y tons of a mixture that contained 2% gravel G, by weight, to produce Z tons of a mixture that was 5% gravel G, by weight. Carol,

Using your formula, It also works with 17 (prime number)
17 = 12 x 1 + 5 ... and therefore we have a different reminder.

Furthermore
25 = 12 x 2 + 1

So B should not be the answer because 25 is not a prime number.
Anyway this question sounds strange.

D is the answer because it could not be true.
The passage does not give any information about the number of Arbicans that move from suburban areas to urban areas, so we can not confirm wether alternative A is true or not. Again, based on the passage, you can not say that A is 100% wrong.
