On top of NP book, I found Book 3: Eqs and VICs very helpful too. Especially the Inequalities (Both general and Advanced)

Thanks Essay snark for such a detailed reply. My next question is if I chose MBA with no coop and good ranking and other side MBA with coop but medium ranking, which is better as I lack experience and I am a career changer, engineer by profession. Plz let me know.... First of all, thank you for you...

I have my interview for coop program soon. Do you mind sharing how your interview was? What they asked, etc? What was the activity? I am the first one on the day of the interview, so I am gonna have to be quick for my activity. Or does everyone get equal time? Yeah Mac's coop is good. What got you i...

Hi Jagdeep,
Which program did you apply to at McMaster? Coop or Full Time?
If you got into Coop, you should go to McMaster. But if you got into Full Time, you could try Dal since the corporate residency will give you valuable Canadian experience you are lacking right now.
Where in Canada are you now?

I know this thread is VERY old, but I stumbled about the idea of second mba and did some research and found this person explaining his own experience of second mba and just wanted to share it: http://www.manager-tools.com/forums-4411#comment-59848 I also found that Columbia and UCLA strictly say NO ...

Hey First of all, don't be nervous. The material you have is capable of getting you 35-40 on Quant with decent amount of work (with a lot of effort, you can push it to 45-48). With your verbal of 27, you need the following Quant scores to get the following total scores: Q33: 500 Q35: 520 Q37: 540 Q3...

Does it all seem like a blur after the test is done?

Hi everyone, I wrote my test less than 2 weeks ago. I felt I was in full attention and I knew what is going on during the AWA section. After the test, I felt the whole thing was a blur. My quant score was okay! But my verbal was horrible. I knew what I was doing during the test and I was paying atte...

Yeah, but where did you get it? I don't know the source anymore after I printed it.
Now I am not sure if these problems are worth doing.
Its #5 on my document, but I don't know where I printed this document.

I downloaded a PDF from a website and printed it and this question is in it. Just curious where it came from

Thanks Stacey I am only going to do OG problems and analyze them deeply. Manhattan's OGC is helpful in learning different methods - I wasn't able to use it as extensively earlier as it was just launched. But this time, I hope to go through problems thoroughly. As for the CATs, I meant in the last we...

Maybe all the GMAT writers need to unite and fight for feedback.
If MCAT and LSAT writers get it, we should too.
If we all unite, and GMAC refuses, we all stop writing GMAT.
Remember, in the end the schools WANT students too. If everyone boycotts, GMAC would be ruined!

Thanks for your response, Stacey. Yes I wrote the tests under strict time conditions. Maybe 2-3 in the beginning were without essays, but last 7-8 were with both essays, 6 minute breaks (to take into account the signing-in and out). I consumed same snacks and drinks before the test and in-between th...

Kaplan tests are fine, if you don't care about the score. They are good to help highlight weaknesses, but the scores aren't the mosts accurate. +1 I felt Kaplan's Verbal was off, for verbal I think its best to use OG material. Maybe use Kaplan initially, but leave enough time that you can do OG Ver...

Thanks guys. I was also wondering which tests I should used now? I have written 4 Manhattan tests, so I have 2 of those left. But I have written GMATPrep 1 and 2 twice each. I can get 800Score tests, but I am not sure how they are. I also found that Kaplan and Manhattan's verbal was slightly differe...
